EASTER, B & W PARTY, SILENT HILL, THUNDER
|
It's offical but I can't say I'm sure about it all. I decided that I am quiting my job tomorrow and looking for a better and more appealing one that I can easily enjoy going to everyday. I had to think really hard about it for months but it has been decided. My two weeks notice is going in tomorrow and after I work my 2 weeks, I'll have a new job and enough money each month to pay for moving out. That's really good news for Jackie and myself.
My Easter, black and white party, Silent Hill showing, and thunder were all very wonderful! I had a lot of fun these past two weeks and I cannot wait for more! I was however, disappointed about the ratings for Silent Hill. I mean, a 30% c'mon! I thought it to be better than that, though the acting I can say needed a lot of work. But it's the concept of the movie, it's the title of the movie, it's Silent Hill!
Thunder over Louisville this year wasn't as fun as I was planning it to be, though, the boys I had to take there and back made it quite entertaining. I took two of my friends home and while we were heading back home, my friend James decides it'd be funny if he keep yelling at every single person to see if they'd like some candy. Not just any candy, this candy is called ChickLets and they are very throwable. As James offers these little candy delights out, people ACTUALLY wanted them. They'd say "we want some! Throw some this way!" Bad, bad idea. hahah. James is throwing these things everywhere and not everyone enjoyed our out bursts, a lot of people probably just thought we were drunk. A family, however, pulled up two lanes over from us asking for some, so he throws them to him but doesn't quite make it so that dad calls out "throw them harder!" After he says that, the son who is in a carseat goes, "I want some.. uahhhh." So the dad points to his kid like "hey, give my kid some" so, James, behing the man he is, throws them really hard at this kid and pegs him in the eye! The kid is like "ahhhh!" and everyone in my car starts laughing hysterically... The kid didn't get hurt, trust me, but it was halarious.
We then took it to the next level and started to blar music that you'd normally not hear out on the streets; such as, Arabian, Devil went down to Georgia, and the Hampster Dance song. But to our surprise, we were cheered on to play it louder and to continue with the shaking of my entire car. We had a group of boys beside us who were entertained that they'd keep raising there hands and swaying with us, the lady behind us also found it extremely halarious that we were rocking my entire car and dancing... as James gets out of my car and starts to do a dance in a circle an then get back in, that was the lady behind my cars favorite. HA. [Note]: My roof is down on my car.
That was the best car ride of my life...

SCHOOL JIG
|
Earlier on the news today, I heard the weather man called for storms and expected damage once agian. Lately, the contents of their ideas and suggestions have been coming true. Normally I'd assume that the weather man was just pulling all this information straight out of his butt, sense the majority of the time they can't get the weather right unless the weather is already doing what they are announcing it to be. I hope the storm holds off for awhile, or just until I get my car... I had to park across the street in the bakery...
Today is going to be one of those days you just want to be done with. I am tired, I had a test, and I am just not feeling the whole "school jig" today. I have 3 tests tomorrow and then my weekend will be here for some fun! I have a few plan and Easter is right under our noses as well so there are a few things to get me by this week... Thank the Lord (:

TRAFFIC SCHOOL
|
Traffic school... What more is there to say? I had to go to the court house today to serve out my 6:15-9:30 sentence to traffic school. There was no way out of it. The program just teachs you more common sense that obviously isn't nesaccary if you're already fully aware of what is common sense. I got there dreading being in there alone for hours, but as I opened the door to my surprise, Noreen was standing there! Thank the Heavens! We stood there for a little while waiting in line as the door swings open, it's Tyler! More good news! Lets just say... they saved me from ultimate boredum. Thanks!
Yesterday a really bad storm swooped across Indiana, and Kentucky. A tornado had touch down a county over from where I live and we immediately heard sirens and roawring winds down the street as it got closer and sweep across my house. It was really weird; I was just studying in the living room with the door open to the portch when all of a sudden, something seemed to be getting louder. The trees suddenly blew over almost breaking them in half and the winds made a loud, strong noise. The winds and sirens were also followed by hale, lightening, and thunder. My family and I went into the basement until it had blown over, of course grabbing every single animal here (5). After all had come to the lightest hault it could manage, the storm was still brewing, but safe, however, it wasn't a nice ring to the ears to hear fire-trucks racing to some place around my house. I didn't have a good thought about that...

COSTUME BALL '06
|
On 3/29: My family and childhood friends went and saw the last showing of the Easter Pageant at Southeast. They're skipping making the pageant for 2007, and making a brand new one for 2008. I cannot wait.
On 3/28: I went to the mall to pick up a few things for my costume. While I was there a mother and her son walked by and I got the biggest wiff of something really nasty. The little boy was really young so I assumed he probably pooped his pants... but while they walked by me, my wind made the smell follow me for a split second, but of course, in that split second a small group of teenager walk by me and smell it and think I farted... so, to ease the embarrassment, I simply just waved my hand around in the motion that you would do if you actually did fart. It was quite funny to see their faces as they looked at me in disgused. Ah... good times.
I don't know if anyone else has noticed this, but Jackie's a bit obsessed with the AIM mic. She bought a mic to hook to her computer and Aol Instant Messanger has a feature were you can talk to another person verbally through their screen name. Yeah... she's in love with it. She was also quite dissapointed that her recorder doesn't record over 45 minutes because she wanted to record her work over it and listen to it while she sleeps. Instead of doing homework, she thinks she can just learn it through the recording of her voice while she sleeps... I'm not sure if that'll work... LOL.
Last year Kim invited me to the Beaux Arts Ball that UofK uses to help fund raise for an architect foundation. It was a ton of fun last year so she called me up the other day and invited me out agian to the 2006 Ball. Of course I took her offer up with a great big smile! Last year, 2005, we went as like fairies/ basketball girls/ super girl, this year we went as foxes and navy seal people... oh yeah and the boys went as a hunter and Shaggy off scooby doo! He fit the character perfectly. This year, as we walked around and canoodeled and all that jazz we got to dance on the stage this year and I actually got cheered at, which was pretty exciting, I guess, haha. Funny story however, while driving down to Lexington, we took Kim's mom's van, Charlee. He went with us to the Green Day concert as well last year and well, we thought he was pretty reliable. No... no he wasn't. We're in stop and go traffic and Charlee decides that he wants to break down, so he did. We have to pull over on the side of the highway because the van over-heated. Instead of anyone pulling over to help, we sat out there for a good hour or so while everyone turned there heads back at us, staired, waved, honked, and avoided eye contact. Finally a side worker pulled over to help us and gave us some water and radiator fluid. After the adventure and excitment, we arrive at Kim's house and we have our fun!
