I put in my two weeks at Barnes and Noble the other day. I don't know what it is but I really am not handling the whole two jobs and school work with balancing everything else around me as well. With Kyle being out of school, I'm very crazed in getting out of school now- Not that I wasn't before, but this has caused more digress in my willingness to get up and be attentive.
Porcini's is finally almost over with. I have a full two weeks left of 3 shifts apiece for each week. Then, on my last week, the third week, the week of February 4th- I only have to complete one full day and then I'll be shy 2 hours but I'm sure Hollis or John will just give me those hours rather than having me come back for yet another shift. Kyle has also been gone for a few days and this makes me sad )': I miss him and want him to come home; although I know he's helping out his family and cleaning up their house but still- doesn't mean I can't miss him enormously.
While leaving for work the other day- my mother was sitting in the driveway and I was really curious as to what she was looking at. Apparently, a pileated wood peeker (a very large black and red bird) had either been hit by a car or carelessly hit a tree and was injured. It wouldn't fly nor hop away, it'd merely play peek-a-boo with you around the tree- it was rather cute, but all sad at the same time. So my mommy decided to (this is while I am at work now, my father told me this story later) take a bed sheet and try and catch it. According to my dad, he said we should of filmed it. Man! I with I had seen it! Knowing my mom and her personality, I'm sure it was awesome. Though- in the end she did catch it and took it to the wild bird store. A lady just happened to be in there and decided to take it home and care for it (AW! How sweet!) I am just glad that bird didn't get put down... I know most of you think "It's a wild bird, it's hurt, put it out of its misery!" Well- no- It didn't ask to be hit by a car or a tree! heh... Any who- Yeah... It was fabulous.
Lady: I would like a small coffee.
Me: For only 20 cents more you can get a grande!
Lady: I SAID I WANT A TALL COFFEE. I SAID WHAT I WANT.
Me: [woooooooooh...] *Looks Scared* - Okkkk....
Lovely B & N customers, gotta love their anger. ♥
