VACATION, PHEW

... thursday

Long Long LONG summer break. I haven't updated lately but I've been meaning to. To try and make things short, my weeks have been awesome and summer has finally come. For me, summer is only two weeks long but at least I have a summer.

To start this long entry off, Cedar Point was the first destination to attend for the summer break. We got out of school and no more then a few days into summer, we took off for good old Cedar Point. I've gone every year of my life other than my Junior year of high school. It never gets old. New rides, new fun, and new people too. Last year I went with James and our crew, but this year I went with my Sullivan friends and Jackly. I figures she'd be a little more comfortable with that only because James and them like to be "on the go" constantly and you really gotta work to keep up with them. However, we did get to see them in the park and hang out and ride rides for a day. So everything worked out pretty nice and we all enjoyed it greatly. Although some of us did get a little frustrated and annoyed, it was only natural to feel that way because of certain people and their actions... But everything was great- just a few bumps but you can't really avoid those. So from the poop covered buildings to the massively large Dragster, everything was grand and I cannot wait to go back next year.

After that, literally, a day after Cedar Point, my dad and I went on a motorcycle trip. He didn't tell me where we were going because it was "my surprise." To my surprise, we ended up in Missouri and we drove around and saw the sights and went by the pretty lake... St. Louis is also a pretty nice place to see. Then to my BIGGEST surprise, he tells me that we're going to see Rascal Flatts: me and my gang tour 2006 in concert in Texas!!! Front row, saw them UPCLOSE and personal!!! (: It was truly amazing and I was really happy. Plus, it was funny to see my dad put that little Mexican girl up on stage as she danced with the main singer of Rascal Flatts, lol. Those Mexicans. Any who, after that, we planned to go back to the hotel, stay the night then get up, fly back to Missouri where our bike is and then drive back to Kentucky on the motorcycle. However, things didn't really work out that way.... We wake up to Houston TX flooded... Everything is under 4ft of water and we're stuck in a hotel with no food, power, or anything a person truly needs to survive. We watched the news and nothing looked good, they were calling for more rain fall and the water to rose even higher!!!.... Our rental car was under water and there were water moccasins swimming about the hotels... Talk about a drag... To make things short, hours later we get a ride in an SUV to the air port which is in plain sight from the hotel. We do make it, though we drove in deep water and his car stalled 4 or 5 times. To get the picture, the water was almost to the windows of the SUV. Yeah. So we get to the air port and EVERYTHING is caotic there... nothing is going right. Our flight was delayed 4 times, and finally our 4 o'clock flight became a 7:30 flight... But anything was better then being trapped in that hotel. After we boarded, we made it back to the hotel to stay yet another night then drive back in the morning. It was too late to drive back that night, since we didn't leave till about 8 and landed in Missouri at around 11. However... more complication. I wake up the next morning and my back is shot. My whole left side is GONE, I can't feel it, move it, I can't sit, I can't get up, I can't even get up and sit on the bathroom toliet. I was so angry! I just wanted to be home. So I eventually toughed it out and got on the bike to drive a good 6 hours home on the pain. But we did make it and everything is FINALLY over. What a vacation huh?

Yesterday, Kyle and I saw the break up. It was a really good movie, not the best, but good. After, he had been talking about stars so I took him to LaGrange to see the stars... Outside of Louisville, that's about the only place you can really see them without going really far out. He enjoyed it and I enjoyed it too... I got to experience some new things and I saw a shooting star.

Today we're just eating out with my grandparents and havin' fun... My grandma is on oxygen and my grandpa has a tumor on his neck... Pray....

Tomorrow should be just as good too, with bathing suit shopping, the warrens coming over for dinner and to swim, and Kyle being here too. Hopefully he'll tell me his surprise SOON (:

NEW-NESS, QUARTER

... thursday

Finals are finally over with. I finished them this morning with flying colors! *Cough* But I actually did pretty well, I knew all everything on all my finals but one, because they made the one, Garde Manager really hard- oh well. I have an 'A' any way.

Even with the joy of ending another quarter, and going on new, with my brother graduating and me being happier then ever... I still can't escape some form of unhappiness, which lowers my head... My grandma is in the hospital from a collapsed lung.... But there is some form of good news today... al-Zarqawi was killed, finally... If you could do that to others, you deserve to be dead.

Away from that... Cedar Point is right around the corner. I have work on Saturday night and Sunday morning then I am done till I get back from my dad and my motorcycle trip... I think it's gonna be an every year trip (: yay!

(Swimming tonight... First one in our new pool)
